Lhakpa Tsering was only nine years old when he escaped from Tibet in December 1993. Abandoned by his guide in the middle of a snowstorm, he and five other children had to face the Himalayas’ extreme winter conditions. This poignant testimony unveils his hazardous journey towards India.
